Day 9 - Cutting rosette pieces

I changed the design of the rosette because I discovered that my original design had a flaw in it in that there was one pice that was half the thickness of the remaining pieces.

I drew the new design and numbered the pieces.

I cut the paper into the numbered pieces.

I put glue on the surface of the rosewood and the maple and placed the pieces on the glued surface.

I cut the pieces using a jigsaw. I cut just outside the line so I can later finish them off on a spindle sander.

I drew the circles on a piece of plywood. I'll use this to glue the rosette pieces to.
