Day 6 - Start bending the sides

I sanded the back seam to smoothen the edges

I attached clasps to the top and bottom of the mold.

I sanded the joints of the mold.

I joined the 2 side pieces together with tape and planed one edge smooth.

I traced a side template onto one side of the taped-together sides.

The traced edge is slightly curved. This will reduce the amount of sanding I'll need to do later.

 I cut the sides along the traced line.

I started bending one of the sides, checking the shape against the mold.

I pushed too hard and split the wood.
